This original KASHIKO furoshiki features the twelve zodiac animals depicted in lively motion, illustrated by Kutani porcelain artist Yasu Yamachika. Each animal is rendered with vivid expression and movement, making this piece especially suited for seasonal occasions and meaningful milestone gifts.

Using traditional katazome (stencil dyeing) techniques, each furoshiki is carefully hand-dyed one by one by skilled artisans in a wooden workshop in Kyoto that has stood for over 110 years. More than ten individual stencils are layered to complete the design. The artistic sensibility of Kutani porcelain painting and the heritage of Japanese dyeing craftsmanship come together in this elegant and dignified furoshiki.
